‘Political will’ dwarfing Anti-Corruption agencies, a new OSIEA study report reveals

Kenya Ethics and Corruption CommissionA new corruption study report concludes that the successful fight against corruption is hinged on a combination of political will and unfettered independence of anti-corruption agencies. The study which commissioned by the Open Society for East Africa (OSIEA) and launched in December 2015 covered the East African countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The findings revealed that anti-corruption agencies lacked political support and will to function effectively.
